The park is situated in the lush hills of the Border Ranges, remnants of an ancient volcano, where the Lamington Plateau plunges into dramatic cliffs and gorges.

The Lamington National Park has 190 species to spot, including colored parrots and the elusive bowerbird, named for the elaborate arches they build and decorate to impress possible mates.

Cavill Avenue, Surfer’s Paradise

Cavill Avenue is a street and a mall in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. The street ranges from the city center via Cavill Mall to the sun-splashed beaches along the Esplanade. It was named in honor of the founder of Surfers Paradise, James Cavill, famously known as Jim Cavill.
